Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree Brings New Game Plus to Switch

Knights Peak and Primal Game Studio have released a free update for the Nintendo Switch version of Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree. The New Game Plus update adds the new mode — which was previously added to the PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 versions of the dark fantasy side-scrolling RPG — where players face empowered enemies, use upgraded weapons, and can start with a fully-equipped character. It also includes new weapons, quality-of-life upgrades, balance adjustments, visual and UI enhancements, and bug fixes.

Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree is set in the world of Faelduum, which is in decline as the boundary between it and another realm called Entropy fades, unleashing monsters into the world. Players attempt to take their world back from the monsters, using the legendary Witch Lantern to explore Entropic Corridors, parts of the world already claimed by Entropy.
