Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii Demo Released, Dave the Diver Crossover DLC Announced
Sega and Ryū ga Gotoku Studio have released a demo for Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii. The demo is available now on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. It allows players to explore a slice of the game’s Honolulu map, using protagonist Goro Majima’s two combat styles, as well as visit Madlantis to try out real-time ship and deck battles in its naval arena.
Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii takes place following the events of Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. It sees players controlling Goro Majima, who suffers from amnesia after being shipwrecked on a deserted island and travels across the ocean to recover his identity. The game features the series’ traditional brawling action combat, with Majima able to switch between Mad Dog and Sea Dog combat styles. Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii is set to release worldwide on February 21, 2025, for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
In other news, Mintrocket announced that it will be releasing Like a Dragon crossover DLC for Dave the Diver. Ichiban’s Holiday sees Yakuza: Like a Dragon and Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth protagonist Ichiban Kasuga visit Blue Hole on a break, joined by the bartender of the Survive Bar. However, the duo soon uncover a dolphin-poaching syndicate and step into action. The DLC includes some beat-’em-up style infiltration, as well as new mini-games and other crossover characters that can be recruited to players’ restaurant staff. Ichiban’s Holiday is planned to release for PC, Mac, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch in April 2025.
