SkyVerse Showcases Its Combat, Kickstarter Campaign Planned

Publisher Bohemia Interactive and developer Enjoy Studio released a new video for their upcoming voxel sandbox RPG SkyVerse. The video is a devlog (viewable below) that explains the game’s combat mechanics. In addition, the companies announced the RPG will undergo a Kickstarter campaign in the near future.

SkyVerse puts players in the role of an airship captain and will include both single-player and co-op multiplayer modes. Players explore an auto-generated world filled with with floating islands. Gameplay mixes combat, crafting, and character progression, with a fully destructible environment that players can use to traverse and craft. Tools available to assist players will include magical staffs, alchemy, and more. SkyVerse is planned to come to Steam Early Access at a later date.
