Mark of the Deep Gets January Window, Demo Available

Mad Mimic and Light Up Games announced that action adventure RPG Mark of the Deep will release for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch in January 2025. In addition, a public demo for the game is now available on Steam.

Mark of the Deep is billed as combining Metroidvania and Soulslike elements. Players control Marcus “Rookie” Ramsey as he looks for his missing fellow crew members after their pirate ship is wrecked on a mystic island. Dangers include monsters, undead creatures, and cultists, with players able to obtain skills, weapons, and trinkets to aid them in their fight. There are numerous quests leading to multiple endings as players deal with the abyssal corruption around them.
