The Time I Have Left Begins Kickstarter Campaign, Demo Available

Developer Ground Game Atelier has begun a Kickstarter campaign for The Time I Have Left. The Kickstarter campaign’s launch comes alongside the game’s appearance during The MIX Fall Showcase, during which it received a new trailer and a new demo. The demo is available on Steam and features around two hours of content from the game’s opening chapter.

The Time I Have Left is a time-driven escape adventure RPG. It follows Aline, who is the apparent sole inhabitant of an underground city called Colony 7. Aline is suddenly marked for death by an entity called the Miasma and must endure various near-death experiences while trying to escape her fate.

The game features turn-based encounters against grotesque enemies, which require players time their movements to evade attacks. In each area, players can find clues, puzzles, and hidden areas. The in-game timer will adjust to keep up with the game’s story, which encourages players to make the most of the time they have available in each level. Alina will obtain new abilities as she uncovers clues, with players potentially needing multiple playthroughs to discover everything available.

The Time I Have Left’s Kickstarter campaign has a funding goal of €50,000 (c. $52,000) and is set to run until December 21, 2024. Those who pledge at least €25 (c. $26) will receive a digital copy of the game, though there are a limited number of equivalent €20 available at the time of writing. The Time I Have Left is currently expected to release in 2026 for PC, with console versions under consideration as stretch goals.
