Stellar Blade’s NieR: Automata DLC, Photo Mode Update Launching Next Week
Sony and Shift Up announced that action RPG Stellar Blade‘s NieR: Automata collaboration DLC will release on November 20, 2024. The DLC’s launch will be accompanied by a free update that adds a photo mode and more. The NieR: Automata DLC sees the character Emil and his shop making an appearance in the world of Stellar Blade. Players can purchase eleven different collaboration items including 2B and A2 costumes for Eve.
Meanwhile, the free update features a new photo mode where players can take photos of Eve, her allies, combat encounters, and landscapes with a variety of filters and camera options. The update also includes four new costumes as well as an accessory that changes the appearance and presentation of Tachy Mode. Other additions include lip-sync support for French, Spanish, Italian, German, Portuguese, and Latin American Spanish as well as the option to play a specific song at the camp turntable and a ponytail toggle option for Eve.
Stellar Blade released for PlayStation 5 in April 2024, with a PC release also planned. The game sees protagonist Eve and her allies from the 7th Airborne Squad from humanity’s offworld refuge attempting to reclaim Earth from the monstrous Naytiba. Upon landing, Eve encounters an Earth native called Adam as well as 5th Airborne Squad member Lily, who offer their support as Eve comes to Xion, the last remaining city on Earth.
