Action RPG Project Eve Gets New Showcase

During today’s PlayStation Showcase event, Korean developer Shift Up provided a new look at its action RPG Project Eve. The game was originally announced in 2019 and is being developed for PC and consoles, though a release window has not been announced.

Project Eve is set in a future where mankind is trying to win back Earth from invaders called NA:tives. Players control Eve, the sole survivor of a paratrooper squad deployed from humanity’s colony, as she fights for survival on the desolated Earth. The game will feature combat built around learning enemy attack patterns and countering them. Players acquire Beta Gauge by evading or parrying attacks, using it to gain skills, while a Burst Gauge powers up through performing successive evades and combos and grants access to buffs and powerful attacks.
