Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector Getting Limited-Time Demo

Developer Jump Over the Edge announced that Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector will get its first freely-available demo as part of the upcoming Steam Next Fest. The demo will be available from October 14-21, 2024, and allow players to visit the game’s first location — Hexport — where they will need to repair their ship and escape before getting caught.

Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector is a follow-up to 2022’s Citizen Sleeper and combines visual novel storytelling with die-based tabletop gameplay mechanics. The game takes players to a brand-new location, where they control a new Sleeper, a company-owned android who has managed to flee to the Starward Belt, a remote asteroid cluster at the edge of the Helion system. Trying to build a new life for themselves, they will need to guide their ship and recruited crew through a system-wide crisis. The game promises a larger area to explore than the first game, as well as new gameplay systems and mechanics. Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector is planned for release in early 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
