Tako no Himitsu: Ocean of Secrets Gets Demo Update

Deneos has released an updated demo version of pixel action RPG Tako no Himitsu: Ocean of Secrets. The update, available on Steam, marks the end of the game’s successful Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign. The updated version of the demo adds a new boss battle, a new localisation, improved maps, and improved puzzles, and lasts around one and a half hours.

Tako no Himitsu: Ocean of Secrets is a spiritual successor to adventure title Save me Mr Tako. It takes place in a world that has experienced centuries of peace after the last war between humans and octopuses. However, wild animals are disappearing while shadow voids emerge alongside the rise of the Temple of the Order. Players control and follow the stories of six different characters, each with their own unique abilities. Players can also befriend and train magical octopuses and participate in strategic real-time combat. It is expected to release for PC and Nintendo Switch in 2026.
