Spike Chunsoft Bringing Bakeru West

Publisher Spike Chunsoft announced that it is releasing Feel-Good’s Bakeru internationally. The “Japan-esque wild action game” will be released in North America and Europe on September 3, 2024. It will be available digitally for PC (via Steam) and Nintendo Switch, priced at $39.99/€39.99, with English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese language support.

Bakeru is set in a version of Japan mixing the modern day and old period dramas. It follows Bakeru the Tanuki as he attempts to stop a plot to using evil spirits to take over Japan. He adventures across Japan’s 47 prefectures using his taiko drum and power of transformation to shapeshift into different forms.
