Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone Announced

Developer The Farm 51 announced a follow-up to survival horror RPG Chernobylite. Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone is planned to release in 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Like its predecessor, Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone is set in the Exclusion Zone around the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, which has been taken over by a high-energy material called Chernobylite. Players control a character cut off and trapped in the Zone, where they must fight off hordes of nightmare creatures while trying to unite the few remaining survivors and factions.

The game will allow players to fight with melee and ranged weapons. Players are able to learn knowledge and skills from their allies as well as develop a base where they can craft new items and upgrade weapons. Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone will add planewalking, which lets players create multiple character skill sets that they can choose between. The game will also include co-op multiplayer missions embedded within its single-player campaign.
