SunnySide Gets New Console Date

Maximum Entertainment, Merge Games, and RainyGames announced a new August 16, 2024, console release date for farming sim SunnySide. The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S release will follow the PC launch, which is set for June 14, 2024 through Steam and the Epic Games Store. Both the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions will be available digitally, while the PlayStation 5 will receive a physical retail version, which is available to pre-order now from selected stores.

SunnySide blends farming sim, social sim, combat, and exploration elements. Players start with a plot of land in an aging Japanese countryside town. They develop their homestead, utilising new technologies to help grow crops and care for livestock, while becoming involved in the community and developing relationships with others. A demo, which lets players play through the first ten in-game days, is currently available on Steam, while a new gameplay trailer can be viewed below.
