Moonstone Island Gets Switch Release Date

Publisher Raw Fury has announced Studio Supersoft’s creature-collecting life-sim Moonstone Island will come to the Nintendo Switch on June 19, 2024. The game was originally released for PC, Mac, and Linux in September 2023.

Moonstone Island is set in an open world with over 100 islands. Following their village’s tradition, players move to one of the islands floating in the sky to complete their alchemy training. Along with the aid of spiritual allies and the use of potions, players explore temples, dungeons, and biomes while uncovering the secrets of the titular island.

Some of the new features since the PC launch include 70 new creatures to collect and capture, exciting rewards for venturing into dangerous dungeons, the ability to move in with a marriage partner after a wedding scene, and a decorator’s pass that gives players access to all DLC cosmetics, with more to be released later in the year.

I have been gaming since I received the Sega Master System as a young child, which was the first console I ever owned (Yes, I am that old). The game that got me into RPGs was Final Fantasy VIII, a game that I still adore to this day. My favorite RPG of all time, however, is Shadow Hearts on the PS2. I do have many other interests outside of gaming as well, such as watching old-school wrestling, Reading books, 80s movies.... or anything 80s related as a matter of fact.
