Legends of Dionysos Release Date Announced

Solo indie developer TheGamingVan has announced that action RPG Legends of Dionysos will be making its way to PC via Steam on June 6, 2024. A demo version of the game is currently available on itch.io and Steam, where it can be wishlisted.

Legends of Dionysos is set in a dark medieval fantasy world where players can create and customize their own character before venturing through forests, snowy mountains, caves, deserts, and ancient ruins, battling powerful enemies along the way. Each location features a shrine that can be activated, unleashing a horde of enemies in the process, with a boss waiting at the end. Combat doesn’t follow a class system; instead, each equipped weapon has its own set of spells. Players will have access to weapons at all times, so the style of play will depend on how stats are distributed.

I have been gaming since I received the Sega Master System as a young child, which was the first console I ever owned (Yes, I am that old). The game that got me into RPGs was Final Fantasy VIII, a game that I still adore to this day. My favorite RPG of all time, however, is Shadow Hearts on the PS2. I do have many other interests outside of gaming as well, such as watching old-school wrestling, Reading books, 80s movies.... or anything 80s related as a matter of fact.
