Dave the Diver’s Godzilla DLC Release Date Revealed

Developer Mintrocket announced the release date for the Godzilla DLC of its adventure RPG Dave the Diver. The free DLC will be available for a limited time from May 23, 2024, to November 23, 2024.

In the upcoming DLC, Dave encounters an injured Godzilla in the depths of the Blue Hole, where the gigantic monster is recovering. Meanwhile, the G-Force, a military organization supported by the United Nations, is on Godzilla’s track, while Ebirah – a huge aquatic creature from the 1966 movie Ebirah, Horror of the Deep – also lurks in the Blue Hole. The DLC will feature instances where players have to escape Ebirah’s pursuit and other situations that call for fighting back thanks to a G-Force submarine. Godzilla is hinted at as a potential ally against the threat Ebirah poses.

Dave the Diver is a mixture of adventure RPG, sea exploration, and sushi restaurant management sim. Players venture underwater into the ever-changing Blue Hole and catch fish and other creatures with a variety of weapons during the day, before running the sushi restaurant at night. The game is currently available on PC, Mac, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch.
