The Last Spell DLC Cast on PC This Month
Publisher The Arcade Crew and developer Ishtar Games announced new DLC for tactical RPG The Last Spell. The Dwarves of Runenberg DLC will release for PC on April 24, 2024, priced at $7.99. It adds a new map in the town of Runenberg featuring explosive crystal and monster-spawning statues, as well as playable Dwarven character class, a new perk system, and three new weapon types. The game will also get a free update for PC on the same day adding a new weapon pool dilution system, new perks and trinkets, and various bug fixes.
The Last Spell released for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch in 2023. It takes place in a world decimated by a monster-creating mist that plagues the land. The last remnants of humanity are backed into a corner, and players are tasked with defending the last of the mages as they prepare a spell that will banish all magic from the world. The game features a day-night cycle where players use the daytime to build defences, set traps, or train up replacements to lost forces before fending off a night assault of hundreds of enemy creatures.
