Blade Prince Academy Release Date Announced

Developer Angel Corp and publisher Firesquid have revealed tactical RPG Blade Prince Academy is due to be released on March 7, 2024, for PC via Steam. It will be priced at $19.99/€19.99/£16.75. The game puts players in the role of Blade Princes, highly trained warriors tasked with protecting the city of Abjectalia by taking on gangs, cults, and monsters while unveiling the city’s secrets in the process.

Blade Prince Academy’s combat system combines real-time action with strategic pauses, allowing full control of the battle by strategizing, planning attacks, and executing combos for each character. By taking advantage of the dodging, strategic positioning, and environmental mechanics, players can open up a variety of tactical options. Outside of combat, managing the school life of the Blade Princes at the academy, which acts as a hub, allows characters to enhance their skills, recover, and build relationships. Each hero has their own unique abilities and backstories adding further depth to the game’s narrative and strategy. Team cohesion and the outcome of missions are dependent on the social dynamics between each member, making it crucial to form strong bonds.
