Goblin Stone Gets Release Window

Indie studio Orc Chop Games has announced Goblin Stone will be released for PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. Featuring narration by actor James Smillie and music by Peter McConnell of Monkey Island fame, the turn-based RPG is due to be launched during the first quarter of 2024.

The game sees goblins driven to the verge of extinction by adventurers hunting them down for loot and experience points. Players must assemble a group of goblins and battle humans, elves, and dwarves for their survival in a procedurally generated adventure. It features over 60 different enemy types, 25 boss fights, 41 levels in five regions, and a breeding system with up to 48 genes to combine. Some of the classes to choose from include Bandit, Raider, Hunter, Shaman, and more. A playable demo is available via Steam.

I have been gaming since I received the Sega Master System as a young child, which was the first console I ever owned (Yes, I am that old). The game that got me into RPGs was Final Fantasy VIII, a game that I still adore to this day. My favorite RPG of all time, however, is Shadow Hearts on the PS2. I do have many other interests outside of gaming as well, such as watching old-school wrestling, Reading books, 80s movies.... or anything 80s related as a matter of fact.
