Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden Gets Story Trailer

Focus Entertainment and Don’t Nod have released a new story trailer for Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden centering on the relationship between protagonists, Antea Duarte and Red mac Raith. The narrative-driven action RPG follows the duo, who are lovers as well as ghost hunters. During one of their missions, Antea is killed and turned into a ghost, leaving Red in a moral quandary between sticking to his oath as a banisher or bringing his lover back.

Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden will be coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on February 13, 2024. Two limited editions of the game can be pre-ordered exclusively on the Focus Entertainment store. The Red Echoes Edition will contain a leather effect notebook illustrated with Red’s memories, an ink writing set, and the base game with the Wanderer Set DLC. The Collector’s Edition will include the base game with the Wanderer Set DLC, plus a separable Red and Antea statuette, 128-page artbook, SteelBook case, and two Banishers’ signet rings.

I have been gaming since I received the Sega Master System as a young child, which was the first console I ever owned (Yes, I am that old). The game that got me into RPGs was Final Fantasy VIII, a game that I still adore to this day. My favorite RPG of all time, however, is Shadow Hearts on the PS2.
