Tactical RPG Beast Gets New Title, Content Update

Developer False Prophet released its second major content update to the Steam Early Access version of tactical RPG Beast. The content update also comes with a new title for the game — Beast: False Prophet. The update now allows players to play through the game from start to finish, with playthroughs stated to take around forty hours. Further updates will provide bug fixes and additional polish to the game and its systems ahead of a full release.

Beast follows veteran soldier Anton Sabbados after he returns home following years in captivity. He and his team are appointed by the “king-prophet” Lurius to deal with a deadly plague in the Carpathian Mountains. As the game progresses, Anton must fight with his inner demons and memories, with the line between reality blurring each time. He is able to call upon powers from his demons, but doing so risks his descent into darkness. The game is expected to fully release for PC in 2024.
