Rise of the Ronin Set for March

Sony and Koei Tecmo’s Team Ninja studio announced a release date for Rise of the Ronin. The action RPG will release exclusively for PlayStation 5 on March 22, 2024, with pre-orders starting December 14, 2023. A Digital Deluxe Edition will include in-game items — an armour set, a formal wear set, a staff, and a set of paired swords — plus a digital soundtrack and a digital art book.

Rise of the Ronin is set in late 19th century Japan, during its Bakumatsu period, with players controlling a wandering Ronin during the chaotic era. The game features open world exploration with action combat that mixes the weapons of the time, such as katanas being used alongside newly established firearms.
