Action RPG Rise of the Ronin Announced

Sony and Koei Tecmo’s Team Ninja studio announced action RPG Rise of the Ronin. The game is set in late 19th century Japan, during its Bakumatsu period, with players controlling a wandering Ronin during the chaotic era. It is set to release as a PlayStation 5 console exclusive in 2024.

Rise of the Ronin is an open-world RPG and features action combat that mixes the weapons of the time, with katanas being used alongside newly established firearms. The game promises player choice elements as they encounter a variety of characters supporting different factions.
