Palia Launching on Switch Next Week

Developer Singularity 6 announced that its free-to-play fantasy life-sim MMO Palia will release for Nintendo Switch on December 14, 2023. The game has been in open beta on PC since August; it is not currently clear if the Switch release will come with an official full PC launch. Players will be able to link their PC and Nintendo Switch accounts and progress, with those who do so at launch receiving in-game item and costume rewards.

Palia is set in a world where humans are considered a legendary race that disappeared thousands of years ago. Players will be able to form and build relationships with a diverse cast of NPCs, including romance, as well as interact with other players. The game is intended to cater to those who want to uncover the secrets behind humanity’s disappearance, as well as those who’d rather live an idyllic and quiet life in a lakeside village, with lots of customization options. Those looking to read more about the game can check out RPGamer’s impression from a few hours of early beta access in August.
