Baldur’s Gate III Now Available on Xbox Series X|S

Larian Studios has released Baldur’s Gate III on Xbox Series X|S. The Xbox Series X|S digital release, available for $69.99, joins the PC and PlayStation 5 versions and includes its recent Patch 5 plus other previous updates. The game includes both split-screen and online co-op on Xbox Series X, but just online co-op on Xbox Series S. Players are able to transfer their save files between platforms by signing up to a free Larian account.

Baldur’s Gate III features turn-based combat based on the fifth edition Dungeons & Dragons ruleset. It takes place over 120 years after the events of Baldur’s Gate II and its story begins with the customisable player character and some others captured and forced to host a Mindflayer tadpole before the airship they are on crashes. Physical editions on all platforms are planned to release in Q1 2024. Those looking to read more about Baldur’s Gate III can check out RPGamer’s recent review.
