Hammerwatch II Gets Console Release Date

Modus Games has announced the date for the initial console release of Crackshell’s Hammerwatch II. The fantasy RPG arrives on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 on December 12, 2023 and will cost $24.99. Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 4 versions are planned to release sometime in 2024. A remastered version of the first Hammerwatch game will also be available the same day. Players interested in picking up both titles can purchase them together in a Chronicles Edition digital bundle for $39.99 that also includes additional character customization options.

Hammerwatch II sees players choose one of five classes – Paladin, Ranger, Rogue, Wizard, or Warlock – and create a custom character to journey through the fantasy world of Hammerwatch. Their hero is tasked with rescuing the world from Blight the Horrible’s dragon army utilizing a wide range of abilities in hack-and-slash combat. Hammerwatch II originally released on PC back in August of this year.
