Arisen Force: Vonimir Begins Kickstarter Campaign

Developer ArisenForceTeam has begun a Kickstarter campaign for its pixel art action RPG Arisen Force: Vonimir. The game is set in a fantasy “Middle-Earth” world and begins as the world is invaded by demonic forces.

Arisen Force: Vonimir is said to offer freedom to players to explore the world and progress the game, with multiple methods of transportation available. Players can obtain numerous skills to use while exploring and interacting with NPCs including trading, duels, item detection, and more. Players can assemble a party of up to seven characters, with three engaging in frontline combat while the other four offer support.

Weapons and skills are said to work independently. Available weapon types will include swords, claymores, daggers, spears, bows, axehammers, and more, with skills include counters, enemy control, and summoned allies. The game will also include skill cancels to activate multiple skills in quick succession, as well as an ultimate move that can be activated once players accumulate sufficient eneregy from their combat performance.

Arisen Force: Vonimir is initially planned to release for PC in late 2024, with console versions to follow in 2025. The developer is looking for HK$116,913 (c. US$15,000) in funding by December 26, 2023. Those who pledge at least HK$124 (c. US$16) will receive a digital copy of the game as part of the it backer rewards. A demo is currently available on Steam.
