The Thaumaturge Launching in December
Developer Fool’s Theory and publisher 11 bit studios announced that dark fantasy RPG The Thaumaturge will release for PC on December 5, 2023. The companies also revealed that PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions are in development and planned to release in 2024. Those looking to try out the game can play a demo version during this week’s Steam Next Fest from October 9-16, 2023, while a new gameplay trailer can be viewed below.
The Thaumaturge is set in an alternate version of 1905 Warsaw, following its recent annexation by the Russian Empire. Its setting features supernatural beings called Salutors that exist in the cracks of the real world. These Salutors can only be fully perceived by Thaumaturges, people who use their unique abilities and see deep into the psyches of humans.
