Sand Land Gets Story Trailer [Updated]

Update — Bandai Namco has released an English version of the story trailer, which can be viewed below.

Bandai Namco released a new Japanese trailer for the upcoming action RPG Sand Land. The two-minute video for the game, which is based on the 2000 manga of the same name from Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama, shows the game’s desert setting, main characters, and some short gameplay clips. It also features a teaser for a new character that didn’t appear in the original series.

Sand Land is set in a desert world where humans and demons are suffering from a water shortage. The game follows Beelzebub as he joins Sheriff Rao and the demon Thief to search for a Legendary Spring. Players explore the world on foot and in a variety of vehicles, with the game featuring both vehicular and character-based combat. The game is being developed by ILCA for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, but does not currently have a release date.
