LunarLux Releasing in September
Publisher Freedom Games and developer CosmicNobab Games announced that LunarLux will release for PC on September 25, 2023. The pixel-art action adventure RPG will be available on Steam for $19.99. It underwent a successful crowdfunding campaign in 2022 that also included a Nintendo Switch version stretch goal, though the Switch version has not been dated.
LunarLux is set a thousand years after a catastrophe led to planet Terra becoming volcanic and lifeless, with the surviving humans managing to make their way onto its moon, Luna. The people have managed to survive and thrive, however, the return of the antimatter comet that caused the initial event on Terra is set to return and wipe out the survivors. The game follows Lunar Warrior Bella as she attempts to destroy the comet, and features a hybrid turn- and action-based combat system that draws inspirations from Mega Man Battle Network, Undertale, and Mario & Luigi.
