Action RPG Deathbound Announced
Tate Multimedia and Trialforge Studio have announced action RPG Deathbound. The game is set on the medieval world of Ziêminal, which mixes a technological past with a medieval present and where life and death clash, and is planned to release in 2024. It is currently available to wishlist on Steam.
Deathbound sees players controlling a being that is the results of experimentation for eternal life held by the Cult of Life. Meanwhile, the Church of Death embarks on a crusade to eliminate what it sees as the cult’s heresy. The game is set around the explorable city of Akratya as it falls into ruin under the crusade.
Players attempt to survive the hostile world, using the Binding System to absorb the essences of fallen warriors to shape their own playstyle. Players can seamlessly switch between warriors to harness their skills, as well as combine their abilities for powerful Morphstrikes.
