Rear Sekai Releasing in Japan in October
Publisher Bushiroad Games announced that action RPG Rear Sekai will release in Japan on October 12, 2023. The game is developed by Hakama, which recently developed Rune Factory 5, and will be available on Nintendo Switch. A western release has not been announced.
Rear Sekai lets players control a male or female protagonist, who visits the town of Ellentaros in the fantasy world of Melvania and sets off on an adventure to help the townsfolk. However, during the adventure, they find themselves awakening in a different modern world. Players will need to uncover the secrets behind the two worlds. Rear Sekai’s combat features combo attack and magic tools, with players able to adjust their build based on their equipment’s effects. The game will also feature interaction with the various characters, with players able to build relationships, including romantic ones.
