Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty Releasing in September

CD Projekt RED announced that Cyberpunk 2077s Phantom Liberty expansion will release on September 26, 2023. The expansion will be available for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Phantom Liberty features a spy-thriller tale as protagonist V becomes involved in a mission to save the President of the New United States of America. It sees V’s orbital shuttle getting shot down while over the Dogtown, the most dangerous district of Night City, which appears in the game for the first time. The expansion features multiple new characters, including FIA sleeper agent Solomon Reed, played by Idris Elba, while Keanu Reeves will return as Johnny Silverhand.

Cyberpunk 2077 was released for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in December 2020, with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions released in February 2022. It is based on Mike Pondsmith and R. Talsorian Games’ Cyberpunk tabletop RPG and follows V, a player-created character in Night City who is left for dead after a failed heist and becomes entwined with the legendary figure Johnny Silverhand.
