RPG Maker Unite Launching on Unity Store in April

Gotcha Gotcha Games announced that it will be releasing RPG Maker Unite on April 6, 2023. The game creation suite will be available for PC and Mac initially on the Unity Asset Store for $90.90, with a Steam release planned to follow at a later date. Those who sign-up to the suite’s Unity interest list and complete their purchase within two weeks of its release date will receive early-bird bonus DLC assets, set to launch after six months to a year, for free.

RPG Maker Unite is the first entry in the series to utilise the Unity engine. As with other entries, it will come with its own library of assets and a pre-made database to help players create their own games. It will also include template games, which players can modify and build upon. Other features include native full HD resolution support, a new outline editor, automated balance tuning guides, native mobile builds, and customisable C# scripts.
