Everspace 2 Fully Launching in April

Developer Rockfish Games announced that its space looter-shooter Everspace 2 will fully launch for PC on April 6, 2023. The game — which has spent two years in Early Access on Steam, GOG.com, and the Xbox Store — will also release for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in summer 2023. Physical copies of the console versions are planned in partnership with Maximum Games. The developer also revealed that the game’s Early Access price will increase to $49.99/£44.99/€49.99 on February 20, 2023.

Everspace 2 is a follow-up to Everspace, which released for PC, Mac, and Linux in 2017, with PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch versions following in 2018. Everspace 2 underwent a successful Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign in 2019 and follows Adam, a clone pilot in the Demilitarized Zone of Cluster 34. Players explore the various star systems, undertaking main and side quests while acquiring and optimising new ships.
