The Valiant Launching Next Month

THQ Nordic and Kite Games have announced that The Valiant will release on October 19, 2022. The game, which is billed as a mixture between action, RTS, and RPG, will be available on PC via Steam, GOG.com, and the Epic Games Store.

The Valiant is set in Europe and the Middle East in the 13th century. It follows former crusader Theoderich von Akenburg, who is dragged back into conflict when a monk tells him that an artifact Theoderich and his former ally Ulrich von Grevel uncovered years prior contains untold power. Players command squads of knights though its story campaign, with the game also including a cooperative three-player “Last Man Standing” mode, where players face hordes of enemies, as well as 1v1 and 2v2 competitive multiplayer. A new trailer highlights some of the environments players will encounter in the game.
