I Was a Teenage Exocolonist PlayStation Release Announced

Publisher Finji announced that narrative life sim RPG I Was a Teenage Exocolonist will be released on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles. The game, developed by Northway Games, will launch on the consoles on August 25, 2022, the same date as its previously announced PC and Mac release.

I Was a Teenage Exocolonist puts players in the role of a youngster living out their teenage years on an alien planet. It takes place over ten in-game years, with player decisions affecting the course of their life and the fate of the colony as a whole. The game features a card-based combat system that is loosely based on the rules of poker, with players able to use card effects to adjust their hand. It includes thirty endings, with twenty-five available jobs and ten dateable characters. To mark the PlayStation release announcement, NorthwayGames put out a new development blog post talking about the game’s design and dynamic narrative.
