Nintendo Treehouse: Live Showcases Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity

Nintendo held a new Nintendo Treehouse: Live presentation, during which it showcased the upcoming Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. In the 25-minute video, the hosts show off plenty of footage from the game, including the first look at combat for playable characters Urbosa and Zelda.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is being developed by Koei Tecmo’s Omega Force studio and utilises the hack-and-slash combat of Hyrule Warriors. The game acts as a prequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, taking place 100 years before the latter game and showing the events of the Great Calamity. Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is being developed exclusively for Nintendo Switch and is set to be released on November 20, 2020.
