Dragon Quest Monsters: Terry’s Wonderland Switch Port Announced

Square Enix has announced a Nintendo Switch port of Game Boy Color title Dragon Quest Monsters: Terry’s Wonderland. The Switch port will include color and monochrome graphic modes as well as the option to change the background wallpaper, while additional information is placed on the extra area of the screen. The port will be released in Japan on September 17, 2019. No announcement has been made regarding a western release.

Terry’s Wonderland is the first game in the Dragon Quest Monsters spin-off series. The game follows Dragon Quest VI character Terry as he attempts to save his sister. Terry does not participate in battle, but recruits monsters to his party. The game was originally released in 1998 in Japan, with North American and European releases following in 2000. Remakes have been released for PlayStation, Nintendo 3DS, and iOS in Japan.
