Granblue Fantasy: Versus to Include RPG Mode

Cygames and Arc System Works’ fighting game Granblue Fantasy: Versus will include an RPG mode when it launches for PlayStation 4 next year. The RPG mode will tell an original story featuring the major characters from the franchise in the form of a 2D action RPG. The mode will have English and Japanese voice acting as well as 3D rendered cutscenes and boss battles against giant beasts.

Granblue Fantasy: Versus is set to be released in Japan on February 6, 2020, for PlayStation 4. The game will be coming west, with XSEED Games publishing it in North America and Marvelous Europe handling the European release, though no dates have been announced. Cygames is also currently working on a dedicated RPG titled Granblue Fantasy: Relink for PlayStation 4.
