Cygames has been hoping to provide new details on Granblue Fantasy: Relink this month. Unfortunately, it has instead needed to reveal a delay to 2023.

Cygames held its Granblue Fantasy Fes 2021 event, during which it provided an update on Granblue Fantasy: Relink. The action RPG is still planned to launch next year, with a PC release joining the previously announcement PS4 and PS5 versions.
Though we haven’t heard anything since last year, Cygames put out an update regarding Granblue Fantasy: Relink during its Granblue Fantasy Fes 2020 event. The update reveals a planned 2022 release window, with twenty minutes of gameplay footage shown.
We still don’t have a release date, but Granblue Fantasy: Relink was present at this weekend’s Granblue Fantasy Fes 2019 event. Its appearance brought new screenshots, a new trailer, and ten-minutes of four-player co-op gameplay.
Cygames is currently developing a full RPG in Granblue Fantasy: Relink, but it is not clear how long it will be until the game is released. To help with the wait, fighting game Granblue Fantasy: Versus will be including an action RPG mode.
PlatinumGames’ time working on Granblue Fantasy: Relink has come to an end. Cygames will be taking full control of development on the upcoming action RPG.

CyGames has provided a brief update on its upcoming Granblue Fantasy console title. The company confirmed it is planning for the game to be localised, with new information expected this December.
New footage recently emerged of PlatinumGames and CyGames’ console RPG. The six minutes of gameplay features a few characters who will be familiar to players of the smartphone game.
