The Last Remnant Now Available on Switch

As announced during Square Enix’s E3 presentation, The Last Remnant Remastered is available now on Nintendo Switch. The game is available digitally through the Nintendo eShop priced at $19.99.

The Last Remnant was originally released worldwide for Xbox 360 in 2008, with a PC version releasing in 2009 before being removed from sale in 2018. The remastered version of the game was released on PlayStation 4 in December 2018 and features all of the improvements in the PC version — including enhanced graphics, a “Turbo Mode” for combat, and a New Game Plus — and also adds high-speed field movement and extra save slots.

Wait, what. How? Didn’t this game barely run on the 360 back in the day? How is the Switch going to handle it in handheld mode?

I’m wondering what all the big deal about this game is. All reviews of the original were completely average to meh. Heck the remastered reviews are hovering upon average to meh as well.
