Digital Store Weekly Round-Up (April 4, 2019)

Welcome to RPGamer’s weekly digital store round-up. In this column we look to provide our readers with updates on recent releases and sales for RPGs across the digital marketplace.

 

New Releases

Thankfully it’s a quieter week to kick off Q2. Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission brings a card-battling spin on the franchise. Meanwhile, Taiwanese RPG Sword & Fairy 6 coming to PS4 in English, while the first Darksiders and Borderlands titles come to new platforms. Finally, deckbuilding roguelike Monster Slayers releases for Switch, while Kemco’s Sephirothic Stories arrives on PS4 and Switch.

Sales and Discounts

The North American PlayStation Store has a smaller selection of deals this week including Anima: Gate of Memories – The Nameless Chronicles, Devious Dungeon, and The Elder Scrolls Online.

Europe begins its Spring Sale, which includes deals on Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Assassin’s Creed Origins, Bloodborne, Darksiders III, Diablo III, Enter the Gungeon, Fallout 4, Horizon Zero Dawn, Pillars of Eternity, South Park: The Fractured but Whole, The Elders Scrolls Online, and The Witcher 3. New PS3, Vita, and PSP sales include Dark Souls II, Ni no Kuni, Persona 5, and Tales of Xillia.

The latest Xbox Store sales has just a couple of RPGs in Enter the Gungeon and Mordheim: City of the Damned.

The current American Nintendo eShop deals include Cycle of Eternity: Space Anomaly, Devious Dungeon, Fairune 2, and Oceanhorn. European Switch sales include Battle Chasers: Nightwar, Devious Dungeon, Earthlock, Fall of Light, Letter Quest, Oceanhorn, The Count Lucanor, and Titan Quest, with 3DS deals TBC.

Steam‘s current sales include Borderlands, The Elder Scrolls Online, Shadows: Awakening, Shadows: Heretic Kingdoms, Monster Hunter: World, Pillars of Eternity, Titan Quest, Necropolis, Blackguards, Dex, Knights of Pen & Paper, and Millennium. GOG.com continues its big Spring Sale that features Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines, The Witcher, Divinity, Pathfinder: Kingmaker, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, The Elder Scrolls, Pillars of Eternity, Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen, Dragon Age: Origins, Titan Quest, ELEX, XCOM, BioWare’s Dungeons & Dragons titles, Tyranny, Lords of the Gallen, Shadowrun, Wasteland, Battle Chasers: Nightwar, The Dwarves, Hand of Fate, Ultima, Might and Magic, Avernum, Avadon, and The Bard’s Tale IV. Meanwhile, The Humble Store sales include Vikings: Wolves of Midgard, The Dark Eye: Demonicon, The Metronomicon, Shadows: Awakening, and Shadows: Heretic Kingdoms.
