Digital Store Weekly Round-Up (November 8, 2018)

Welcome to RPGamer’s weekly digital store round-up. In this column we look to provide our readers with updates on recent releases and sales for RPGs across the digital marketplace.

New Releases

The sole wholly new title this week is Circle Entertainment and Rideon’s tactical RPG Mercenaries Wings, which is out on Switch. Nintendo’s hybrid console also receives ports of Full Metal Furies, Moonlighter, and Rogue Legacy. Finally, World of Final Fantasy‘s enhanced Maxima version releases on PC and all of the current generation of console.

Sales and Discounts

The North American PlayStation store continues its Double Discounts, offering extra deals for PS Plus users on titles including Always Sometimes Monsters, Cat Quest, Deus Ex, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Earthlock, Lords of the Fallen, Mass Effect: Andromeda, Pillars of Eternity, Pyre, South Park, The Surge, Yakuza 0, and Yakuza 6.

The Double Discounts also continue in  Europe, whose offerings include Atelier Firis, Citizens of Earth, Divinity: Original Sin 2, Dragon’s Crown, Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen, Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy IX, Final Fantasy X|X-2, Final Fantasy Type-0, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Lords of the Fallen, Lost Sphear, NieR: Automata, Persona 5, Shadows: Awakening, Shining Resonance, South Park, Star Ocean, The Lost Child, Valkyria Chronicles 4, Yakuza 6, and Yakuza Kiwami 2. Europe’s Halloween sale also gives RPGamers a final day to pick up deals on Bloodborne, Darksiders, the Souls trilogy, Fallout 4, God Eater 2, Little Witch Academia, Nights of Azure 2, Torment: Tides of Numenera, and XCOM 2. Meanwhile, the latest batch of Games Under €15/£13 features Die for Valhalla!, Earthlock, Moonlighter, Songbringer, Stories: The Path of Destinies, Sword Art Online: Lost Song, Tom Clancy’s The Division, and Warhammer 40K: Deathwatch. Finally, the current Games Under €5/£4 list includes Nine Parchments, Overlord: Fellowship of Evil, and Sword Art Online: Re: Hollow Fragment.

The Xbox Store’s sales this week include Die for Valhalla!, Dungeon Punks, Moonfall Ultimate, NeuroVoider, Next Up Hero, Nine Parchments, Overlord: Fellowship of Evil, Super Dungeon Bros, Zenith, Dragon Age 2, Dragon Age: Origins, Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, and Mass Effect 3.

The Nintendo eShop in America has deals for Adventure Labyrinth Story, Alchemic Dungeons, Fairune 2, Bit Dungeon+, and Mercenaries Saga 3. European sales are TBC.

Steam‘s newest sales include The Witcher 3, Borderlands, Trails of Cold Steel I and II, Lords of the Fallen, and Phantom Doctrine. GOG.com has sales on The Witcher trilogy, Trails of Cold Steel I and II, Lords of the Fallen, and SpellForce. Meanwhile, The Humble Store has discounts on Warhammer Quest, Warhammer 40K: Deathwatch, Warhammer 40K: Inquisitor, Mordheim, and Trails of Cold Steel I and II.
