Book of Demons Adds Streaming Interaction

Thing Trunk has released a free Dungeons & Streamers DLC for its action RPG Book of Demons, which will soon be leaving Steam Early Access. The DLC features integration with Twitch and Mixer, allowing those streaming the game to be assisted or hindered by their audience. Viewers will be able to drop in health potions and bonus loot or spawn more monsters for the player to defeat. Players will be able to enable particular features of the DLC as well as adjust how strong the audience interactions are.

Book of Demons features a hybrid between hack-and-slash and deckbuilding gameplay, granting players the opportunity to determine how long individual quests and adventures into the game’s procedurally-generated dungeons last. The game is the first release in a planned “Return 2 Games” series of titles from the developer that are inspired by earlier days of PC gaming. The game will be fully released for PC and Mac on December 13, 2018.
