Steven Universe: Save the Light, OK K.O.! Let’s Play Heroes Receiving Physical Bundle, Switch Release
Cartoon Network and Outright Games have announced a physical bundle containing two titles — Steven Universe: Save the Light and OK K.O.! Let’s Play Heroes. The games, which are both based on animated TV shows produced by Cartoon Network, will be available at retail stores priced at $39.99/£34.99/€39.99 in North America on October 30, 2018, and in Europe on November 2, 2018. The bundle will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, the Switch version being a newly-announced platform for both games with separate digital releases for the console coming worldwide on October 30, 2018.
Steven Universe: Save the Light features an original storyline crafted alongside series creator Rebecca Sugar, following a young boy named Steven who lives with magical humanoid aliens known as Crystal Gems. The game was initially released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2017, with a PC and Mac release also coming this month. Those looking to read more about the game can check out Sam Wachter’s review of its PlayStation 4 version and Zach Welhouse’s interview with developer Chris Graham.
OK K.O.! Let’s Play Heroes is an action beat-em-up RPG, also featuring an original storyline made in collaboration with its series creator, Ian Jones-Quartey. The game was released earlier this year for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The series is set in the retro-futuristic year of 201X and follows K.O., who aspires to be world’s greatest hero while he works at a hero supply shop.
I was hoping there would be a Switch version! 😀
