Digital Store Weekly Round-Up (June 7, 2018)

Welcome to RPGamer’s weekly digital round-up. In this column we look to provide our readers with updates on recent releases and sales for RPGs across the digital marketplace.

 

New Releases

  • A Magical High School Girl (Switch)

The final week before E3 sees a few releases of interest to RPGamers. Dontnod’s Vampyr arrives on PC and console, while Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitior hits PC. Meanwhile, Sorcery Saga and The Banner Saga 2 get ported to PC and Switch respectively, and Cosmic Star Heroine finally hits Vita in Europe. The Elder Scrolls Online‘s Summerset expansion is now also available.

 

Sales and Discounts

The North American PlayStation Store features a Focus Home Interactive publisher sale that includes The Council, Mars: War Logs, Faery, Of Orcs and Men, The Technomancer, The Surge, Shiness, Mordheim, and Bound by Flame. Divinity: Original Sin is also on sale. Europe’s PlayStation store continues its sales of up to 60% until Friday featuring various PlayStation 4 games including Mass Effect: Andromeda, ELEX, The Surge, and Diablo III. Friday will see the start of a “Days of Play” sale that includes Horizon Zero Dawn, Monster Hunter: World, Bloodborne, The Witcher 3, Yakuza 6, Final Fantasy XV, and more.

The Xbox Store’s sales this week include deals on Divinity: Original Sin, The Dwarves, The Technomancer, Torment: Tides of Numenera, and Zenith.

The Nintendo eShop in America has deals for Adventure Bar Story, AeternoBlade, Mercenaries Saga 2, and Saturday Morning RPG. Europe has sales for many of the same games: Adventure Bar Story, AeternoBlade, Drancia Saga, Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara, Mercenaries Saga 2, Plague Road, and Nine Parchments.

The current Steam sales include discounts on Tom Clancy’s The Division, Salt and Sanctuary, South Park: The Fractured but Whole, Beamdog’s various cRPG Enhanced Editions, and Where the Water Tastes Like Wine. GOG.com has a huge set of sales that includes Fallout; Elder Scrolls; Divinity; The Legend of Heroes, Ys, and other Falcom titles; Neptunia; Pillars of Eternity; Wizardry; and much more. Meanwhile, The Humble Store has deals for Always Sometimes Monsters, The Swords of Ditto, and Nine Parchments.
