Digital Store Weekly Round-Up (June 28, 2018)

Welcome to RPGamer’s weekly digital round-up. In this column we look to provide our readers with updates on recent releases and sales for RPGs across the digital marketplace.

There’s just the single completely new title this week as Rainbow Skies arrives on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita. Meanwhile Anima: Gate of Memories, its Nameless Chronicles prequel, NieR: Automata, Realms of Arkania: Star Trail, and Ys VIII all arrive on new platforms. Europe also gets its hands on Harvest Moon: Light of Hope Special Edition.

Sales and Discounts

The North American PlayStation Store features PS Plus specials on Dragon’s Crown Pro, The Division, Grand Kingdom, Masters of Anima, South Park: The Stick of Truth, and Vikings: Wolves of Midgard. Meanwhile, PlayStation Europe’s Games Under £12/€15 sale continues and provides discounts on titles including Dark Souls III, Divinity: Original Sin, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Fallout 4, The Technomancer, and Valkyria Chronicles. The PlayStation Retro sale also sticks around with deals for classic titles on PS4 including Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy IX, Rogue Galaxy, Dark Cloud, and Wild Arms 3. Finally, there are new sales for Devious Dungeon, Masters of Anima, One More Dungeon, and The Swords of Ditto, plus weekend deals for Darkest Dungeon, Hand of Fate, Joe Dever’s Lone Wolf, Salt and Sanctuary, and The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing.

The Xbox Store’s sales this week include deals on Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen, Masters of Anima, Realms of Arkania: Blade of Destiny, and Mars: War Logs.

The Nintendo eShop in America has deals for Ambition of the Slimes, ASH, Battle Chef Brigade, Etrian Odyssey Untold, Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold, and Fairune. Europe has Switch sales for Ambition of the Slimes, Battle Chef Brigade, Bit Dungeon+, Earthlock, Joe Dever’s Lone Wolf, and Masters of Anima, plus deals on 3DS titles Excave II, Excave III, Harvest Moon: Skytree Village, Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley, and Harvest Moon: The Tale of Two Towns.

Steam has begun its massive summer sale that is far too numerous to list here. GOG.com has a couple of sales for Eschalon and Telepath Tactics. Meanwhile, The Humble Store has deals for Shadowrun, Mount & Blade, and Shadows of Adam.
