Shining Resonance Re:frain Receives New Trailer

Sega has released a new trailer for Shining Resonance Re:frain, its upcoming PlayStation 4 remaster of the PlayStation 3 title Shining Resonance. The video, entirely in Japanese, shows some brief snippets of gameplay, also highlighting its what-if extra story mode, and additional costumes.

Shining Resonance Re:frain is set to be released in Japan on March 28, 2018, with no news available regarding a potential western release outside of an Australian Classification Board rating. Shining Resonance was initially released in 2014 and features a real-time combat system. The game stars Ilburn, supposedly the last surviving dragon after the rest of his kind perished. The Shining series began in 1991 with Shining in the Darkness and has featured many titles on various platforms and covering various sub-genres such as dungeon-crawlers, strategy RPGs, and action RPGs.
