Caligula: Overdose Receives New Trailer

FuRyu has released the first full trailer for Caligula: Overdose, its upcoming enhanced remake of Caligula (released in English as The Caligula Effect). The trailer introduces the various characters and aspects of the game, including new characters Stork and Kuchinashi.

The Caligula Effect was released for PlayStation Vita in Japan by FuRyu in 2016 and in North America and Europe by Atlus USA in 2017. Caligula: Overdose is set for release in Japan on May 17, 2018, with no news yet regarding a western release. Included among the improvements for the new version are a redone UI, upgraded visuals, and substantial amounts of new content. A “Forbidden Musician” route doubles the length of the game’s scenario, and there will also be multiple endings, new Go-Home Club members, new musicians, new songs, and a selectable female protagonist.
