Just a few weeks ago, Sony confirmed that the PlayStation Vita is being put out to pasture and production will stop next year. While it failed to gain traction with the broader gaming public, the Vita nevertheless collected an impressive library of RPGs and worked its way into the hearts of the members of #TeamHandheld. One of its biggest champions was our recently departed Editor-in-Chief, Michael Cunningham. He was determined to collect every English language physical Vita RPG release and would often scour import sites for Asian releases that included English subtitles.
In memory of our friend and his affection for Sony’s handheld, we wanted to celebrate the best that the Vita has to offer and share our choices with you. Join us as we take a tour of the Vita’s Best RPGs. While our staff quickly coalesced around a top 5, there was such variety in the rest of the voting that we have left those games unranked and split them into two parts for easier digestion. After you have read our choices, don’t forget to let us know what your favorite ones are and share your Vita memories in the comments.
